Catholic School Week
We will celebrate Catholic Schools Week next week. This programme consists of 4 Moments and is called Catholic Schools: Called to be a Family of Families.As in previous years, each day of Catholic Schools Week has its own unique theme .
The daily themes are:
- Monday: Our Family at Home
- Tuesday: Our School Family
- Wednesday: Grandparents: A Special Part of Our Family
- Thursday: Our Parish Family
- Friday: Our World Family
Grandparents Day 2018
We wish to inform you that the proposed date for Grandparents Day this year is Friday ,May 18th . We look forward to a special celebration in our school on that day for all our Grandparents starting at 11.30a.m approx.
Helmet Scheme( Children from 1st to 6th classes)
Laois GAA operate a Helmet Scheme at a special discount of €30 per helmet if ordered through the school or club .We are doing a group order here for those who wish to avail of it . We have helmets they can try on here to check the correct size . Send a note to class teacher if you wish to order a helmet .
Head lice
We remind parents that they should continue to check their child’s hair regularly for head lice.

Dropping children off at school
Please continue to follow protocols for dropping children off at the school car park each day. Only staff cars are permitted inside the gates .
