Community Notice : Emo GAA ;Moving in the right direction-A forum for the future takes place on Thursday night , December 4th at 7pm in the school hall. Guest speakers on the night include John Lonergan ,author and Public Speaker, Dara O’ Shea( winner of 6 All-Ireland medals and three All-stars ) and Pat Ryan , International boxing coach and Emo GAA trainer . The forum is open to all members of the Emo Community who are 16years of age and over . Admission is free .

Our preparations for the Christmas concerts are in full swing and Monday is the last day for ticket orders .
We had a very musical assembly today as Ms. Delaney’s class and Mr. Kirwan’s class sang for us . Ms. Delaney’s class sang “Falling Snowflake” and Mr. Kirwan’s class closed assembly with “Wagon Wheel”. Mr. Slevin’s class presented their projects on ancient Egypt and Mr. Lillis’ class made snowmen in art this week. Harry and Hannah explained how they made them . Mr. Kirwan’s class presented their Science experiments and they found their study of light very interesting .
Congratulations to Aidan O’ Donnell, Ciara Crowley , Jim Gleeson , Joe Greene , Killian Young , Orlaith Harding , Molly McCormack , Niamh Bowe , Kevin Dillon and Zara McMahon who received Mathletics Silver Certificates and a homework pass today . Well done to the 48 children who have recieved a bronze certificate this week also.
