Comhbhrón ; Condolences
On behalf of the school community I wish to pass on our condolences to Florence Fennelly on the passing of her mother Maura Flanagan last week. Our teachers and pupils prayed for the Fennelly and Flanagan families during the week.

Cuairt Ó Dhaidí na Nollag ; A Visit from Santa Claus
Thanks to our Parents Association who organised a visit of Santa Claus on Thursday morning. The children were out bright and early to welcome him to our school. He arrived in a classic Mercedes car. Our thanks to his trusty elf, John Whyte who kindly transported Santa and made sure he was here on time. Santa greeted all the children and left a selection box and sweets for everybody.
Féilire na Scoile: School Calendar
The school closes on Tuesday 22nd December. The usual arrangements will apply. Juniors and seniors with their brothers and sisters will leave school at 12pm and the remaining children leaving school at 12.30p.m.
The school re-opens on Wednesday 6th January 2021 at 8.50a.m.

Application and Decision Dates for admission to Junior Infants 2021/2022
The following are the dates applicable for admission to Junior Infants. Application forms will be posted on our website on the 6th January 2021.Please pass this message on to any intending applicants.
| The school will commence accepting applications for admission on | 14thJanuary 2021 |
| The school shall cease accepting applications for admission on | 29th January 2021 |
| The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is : | 19th February 2021 |
| The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is | 26th February 2021 |

I also want to say a special well done to all the children for the energy and enthusiasm they have shown since their return to school.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all parents for your continued support throughout what has been a challenging year for everyone. I also want to acknowledge and say thanks to the incredible teaching and non-teaching staff of our school for all they have done this year, how they have adapted to change and made new arrangements and protocols work seamlessly.
