Dear Parents,

We come to the end of another very busy and enjoyable year we reflect back on many highlights. Last week’s Christmas concerts were great occasions for our school as our pupils took to the stage .

Féilire na Scoile: School Calendar

The school closes on Friday 21st  December for the Christmas holidays @ 12.30p.m. The usual arrangements will apply. Junior and senior infants with their brothers and sisters will leave at 12p.m. The remaining children will leave at 12.30p.m. The school re-opens on Monday 7th January at 8.50a.m.

Rollaithe 2019/2020; Enrolment 2019/2020

Application forms are now available for enrolment for our junior infant class for September 2019. Applications will be accepted during the month of January up to and including the last working Friday in January which is Friday, 25th January. Any queries regarding enrolment or to receive an application form you may e-mail the school;  principal@emons.ie.

Imeachtaí na Nollag: Christmas Activities

Once again ,congratulations to the pupils who performed so well and to all the parents who helped out with costumes/face painting, raffle etc etc last week. Míle buíochas to our teachers and ancillary staff  who worked so well as a team to afford our children an opportunity of performing on stage.

Aaron Leavy, photographer and also a parent in the school took some lovely photographs at the concerts and he has kindly offered to make them available to parents later in the week. I will forward details when I have them .

A note is in your child’s schoolbag today regarding the Christmas concert DVD .Please check your child’s schoolbag for same.

Our choir visited Kolbe school  in Portlaoise on Monday 17th December  for their Christmas party and to do some carol singing.

Our Parents Association are organising a Christmas party for the children on this Wednesday 19th December and we look forward to same.

Parents Association Notice ; Fógra Tuismitheoirí

The Parents Association would like to thank the families and local businesses who gave donations for the Christmas concert raffles, as well as those who bought tickets. The money  raised across the four nights will be used to buy books and equipment for the school.

We are holding the annual Christmas party on Wednesday with a visit from a special guest in red, we hope everyone enjoys the day.

Thank you to all parents for your continued support, enjoy the Christmas break and we will see you in the new year.
