Rang a Sé ag Fágáil: 6th Class Leaving

We had graduation on Tuesday last where we celebrated the end of the year for our 6th class. I would like to compliment them on their achievements during the course of this year and others, in many different spheres of school life.

Our thanks to Ms. Greene for organising the graduation and to Bernie Gorman and the Parents Association for supplying the buns.

The staff and I would like to wish them the best of luck on their onward journey. With sixth class departing we are also losing some parents. A special thank you to them for their support and involvement in school life over the duration of their child’s education here in Emo.

Details on the postponed school tour for 6th will issue in the coming days.

Focal Buíochas: A word of thanks

We are very grateful for the help and support of so many parents in our school. This has long been a hallmark of Emo National School. A special word of thanks to the Parents’ Association who do tremendous work in the background and in particular their officers: Ciara McMahon, Paula Crowley and Darren Brophy.

It is acknowledged that 2020/2021 was a challenging and difficult school year for all and the hard work and dedication of the whole staff to respond to the challenges presented is very much appreciated.

Finally, on behalf of everybody in Emo NS, may I take this opportunity to say well done to all our pupils. They should be very proud of the work that they have done this year especially during January and February and particularly since they returned to school in March.

In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy a lovely summer break
