Cód Nua Iompair; New Code of Behaviour for 1st to 6th classes
Our new Code of Behaviour has been implemented on a pilot basis this term. Piloting the new card system has been very worthwhile and we have made some changes as a result. I will forward the revised version to parents next week.
Turais Scoile: School Tours
We all waved the juniors and seniors off on their school tour this morning. That was our third school tour this year and 5th and 6th will go on their tour on the 23rd June. Well done to all staff for ensuring that the tours have been organised in a safe and fun way.

Club Leabhair; Book Club
Mile buíochas to parents who purchased books through the book club. The school earned €180 euros of credit for books which we will put to good use for class libraries.
Cúrsaí Spoirt: Sports News
Sports days will take place for all classes during the month of June. Although there has been no Cumann na mBunscol hurling and Camogie leagues we are delighted to get the opportunity of playing hurling at lunchtime every day with 4th , 5th and 6th classes. Our thanks to Donie Brennan and our teachers who have completed football coaching with 4th , 5th and 6th classes this term. It was a great opportunity to improve the skills in smaller groups.
- The attendance for the school is 95% and 30 children have full attendance thus far this year. Well done to them.
- School reports will issue electronically this year through Aladdin during the week beginning the 14th June.
- On a personal note, I would like to acknowledge the cards, texts and calls that I received recently from this community on the recent passing of my brother John. They were much appreciated.
