Please see the following notices for your attention:
Christmas Cards
Please check your child’s school bag for an order form along with a sample Christmas card which the children designed themselves.The children are very proud of their printed artwork.These cards are available to purchase in packs of 10, for €8 (envelopes are included). The money raised will be used towards the funding of assessments in the school.
Kindly complete and return the order forms with the correct amount in an envelope clearly marked with your child’s name by:
NEXT THURSDAY (14th November).
Remember to ask relatives if they would like to order some too!
Please note that late orders will incur an extra post and packaging charge.
Church Gate Collection:
This Saturday & Sunday (9th & 10th Nov.) at mass times in St. Paul’s Church in Emo, the Parents Association are holding a church gate collection, in aid of Emo N.S.
The community’s support would be hugely appreciated. Please inform your extended family members, neighbours and friends.
☆☆ Quiz Night ☆☆
Friday 15th November is Quiz Night in The Gate House in Emo hosted by the Parents Association.All proceeds go to Emo National School.Table of 4 €40. Register on the night.Great spot & raffle prizes.The Gate House are runnning a Lotto Bonus Ball fundraiser for the school (€5 for a number, contact Breda Goulding).Winner announced on the night. Entertaining quiz masters.Finger food, kindly donated by Caroline Costello Catering. A final word of thanks to Aine O’Reily of Aine Graphics, Portarlington for all her wonderful help with the quiz posters.Sincere thanks to all involved for enabling this event. Please come along, all welcome …. quiz kicks off @ 9pm.
