Dear Parents,
Swimming will commence for children from 1st to 6th class inclusive from Monday February 18th in Portarlington Leisure Centre. Children will travel to and from the centre by bus.
It is important to point out that the swimming is subsidised by a ten euro contribution from the Parent’s Association. There will be four swimming sessions for each class and the cost in total is €10 per child. Please forward this money in an envelope marked “swimming” with your child or children’s name(s) on the front.
Swimming times and dates for each class are outlined below. Please ensure your child has all of his/her gear with them in school on each date of their lesson. We welcome the help of parents to assist with dressing their children at the lessons. We request that parents who help out would complete a Garda vetting form. You may get this form from Bernadette in the office.
